Trinity Group Sdn Bhd will relaunch its wellness and nature-centric Trinity Rainfora serviced apartments, formerly known as Trinity Elita, by end-August. According to founder and managing director Datuk Neoh Soo Keat, the repositioning exercise was essential to reflect current market needs.
“In a post-pandemic world, people are taking better care of themselves. There’s a focus on health and wellness, a desire for open living spaces and a rising interest in sustainability. It is clear to us that post-pandemic, people are looking for homes that support a greener, healthier and more sustainable way of life. In response to the market needs, Trinity Group has decided to do a repositioning exercise for Trinity Elita, pivoting towards health and wellness, by introducing Trinity Rainfora,” Neoh tells City & Country at the developer’s office in Puchong.
“We acquired this land before the pandemic and had done all the necessary market research. We then soft launched it in 2023. We found out that the previous [concept] does not match the current market needs anymore. We had to revamp the entire concept and re-research the product. We did it very quickly, [in] about six months, to come up with Trinity Rainfora,” he explains.
According to Neoh, the changes are only to the design concept and type of facilities provided.
Trinity Rainfora, which has a gross development value of RM388 million, is a freehold development on 2.4 acres of land in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong. It has residential and commercial components.
The residential component comprises a total of 535 units spread over two 31-storey towers. Units have built-ups ranging from 739 to 1,184 sq ft. In addition, some 80 units at Trinity Rainfora are allocated for the Rumah Selangorku scheme (RSKU) and have a built-up size of 577 sq ft. The selling price for the units at Trinity Rainfora starts from RM530,000 while the RSKU units are priced at RM270,000.
Prior to the relaunch, some 60% of the units in the first tower had been booked. Some 30% of those who booked have decided to proceed with the purchase after the relaunch as Trinity Rainfora.
When asked about the reaction of existing purchasers to the repositioning, Neoh says: “We are giving them a better product at the same price. So, they are very happy with that.”
For the commercial component, there will be nine 2- and 3-storey units located below the residential towers, with built-ups of 3,859 to 15,905 sq ft. The selling price for the units is RM3.5 million onwards.
According to Neoh, development at Trinity Rainfora is progressing well with foundation works completed in May. Work on the main buildings has begun.
“We believe Trinity Rainfora will generally appeal to first-time homebuyers, young working professionals, married couples with young children, retirees and investors.”
Trinity Group targets 70% owner-occupiers and 30% investors as Neoh believes this is a healthy ratio that will make the development more sustainable as its value of appreciation will be supported by a healthy yield.
So far, the developer has received about 2,000 registrants, with some being repeat buyers of Trinity Group’s projects.
A total of 36 types of facilities will be available at the podium, level 20, level 30 and at the rooftop. They include a gourmet kitchen, pool terrace, wading pool, pool shower, 25m infinity pool, rainforest canopy, waterfall Jacuzzi, pool Pilates, aqua gym, hammock nook, glamping forest, BBQ area, dining terrace, yoga deck, study garden, sauna, multipurpose hall, co-working space, gymnasium, edible garden, picnic courtyard,150m jogging trail and reflexology garden.
Trinity Rainfora is accessible via the Bukit Jalil Highway, Damansara-Puchong Expressway and Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas). The nearest LRT station is Kinrara BK5, which is about 400m away. As such, the developer intends to link the development and the LRT station via a pedestrian bridge for residents’ convenience.
“When we designed this development, we wanted it to be ready for first- and last-mile connectivity. We are also looking into providing electric scooters such as BEAM for the residents to use,” Neoh elaborates.
Amenities in the vicinity include a hypermarket and shopping centres (Giant hypermarket, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, SetiaWalk, IOI Mall, Lotus’s Puchong and Sunway Pyramid), schools (SJK (C) Yak Chee, SJK (C) Lai Meng, Tzu Chi International School, SK Puchong Jaya, IMU University, Monash University Malaysia, Taylor’s University and Asia Pacific University), hospitals (KPJ Ambulatory Care Centre Kinrara, Sunway Medical Centre and Columbia Asia Hospital) and recreational attractions (Kinrara Golf Club, Bukit Jalil Recreational Park, Wawasan Hill trail and National Stadium Bukit Jalil).
